Penumbra autobiographically illustrates the life of a young Boricua growing up in The Bronx who seeks to reclaim his Taino heritage; while powerfully confronting issues concerning family, social injustice, and self-identity. The CD contains 10 remastered tracks including single "Within Indigo" which was released with a music video directed by Sean Gallagher.
 
Penumbra features guest artists: Lauren Whitehead, Adam Falkner, Fritz, Bamboo MC, Jimmytheloch, Zev, G-Wiz, Duane Rose, Luis Castro, and Eliezer Rosario Cáliz. Music production by Frankie P, Jonas Bers, Emily Buhr, Rhythm J, Absolute, Jimmytheloch, Zev, Rafael Perez, Intikana & Osvaldo Roque. Live instruments played by Deric Frost (Bass), Danny Nunez (Guitar), Jonas Bers (Accordion) and DJ Ari (Scratches). Penumbra was awarded SUNY's Research & Creative Activity Grant.
