Service Description

With over 13 years of teaching experience in the classroom, Intikana has facilitated workshops and classes for all ages (K-12, college & beyond) in various disciplines (poetry, rap, film, editing, performance, theater, freestyle / improvisation, and audio engineering.) Each class is custom tailored to address the needs of the individuals in the group as well as the hiring institution. Classes with pre-designed curriculum are also available to select from. After a phone conversation laying out details (class size, age range, etc) and establishing desired outcomes, Intikana will either customize a lesson plan that suits workshop needs or offer a pre-designed lesson plan that works. Maximum number of participants is listed as 30 max but this is flexible. 10-15 students are ideal to make sure everyone is focused and on task. However, Intikana can facilitate a workshop presentation for an entire auditorium filled with students. The workshop price per session would still the same. Technical Requirements (Ideal but not mandatory): -Sufficient number of pens and paper / notebooks for all participants. -Projector and screen for displaying videos. -Sound capabilities to play music or audio clips. -Chairs and tables for each participant.
