Booking "Video Editing" from Intikana is equivalent to commissioning an artist to paint you an original painting. Intikana will take the time to piece together footage and tell the story you wish to have told. If you are providing the footage, then, time to review and organize video files will be included as part of session time limit. If you already booked Intikana to film your video, then Intikana will organize files and folders free of charge. Each editing session is 8 hours but depending on video length and project needs, editing may require more hours to achieve and accomplish your vision. In the case that video editing requires more than 8 hours to complete your video, you will be contacted & notified as early as possible. If this becomes a foreseeable issue before video editing begins, you can choose to cancel video editing & receive a full deposit refund. 8 hours of editing should culminate into 2-4 minutes of edited video. (Depending on complexity of editing style & techniques used to fulfill project goals). If the video needs more than 8 hours of editing after editing has already begun, you will be able to view unfinished rough draft. From there, you can decide if you wish to continue & order an additional session or simply retain your organized files, notes and exported .mov of rough draft. A reduced rate will be applied to additional editing sessions purchased (relating to the same project). In any case, Intikana will do his best to complete the needed work within the time given. Video Editing price is subject to change based on project requirements. Video Editing will only begin when both Intikana and Project Manager agree to terms & deliverables. Video Director may be present during video editing, need be. However, it is not necessary. It is often ideal to simply send the footage through google drive or dropbox. (Labeling your own files and organizing your own project folders will save Intikana time & you...money.) In return, Intikana will upload the final video file in .mov or desired format. Each video session is allowed up to two draft changes. (Unless there was a mistake in editing on behalf of the editor. In that case, the change will be made & you will still be granted your two draft changes if needed). Editing can be tedious but detailed care & special consideration makes the difference between leaving a mediocre impression vs an impactful one. Book Intikana today!
